Spectacular Local events bring people to the Southern Gold Coast
We love welcoming guests down from Brisbane and up from Northern NSW who want to experience the wonderful calendar of event that the Southern Gold Coast has to offer in and around Kirra Beach Tourist Park each and every weekend. This weekend we kick off with the FESTEVIL AT THE FANGTUARY being held at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary,weekend.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and the Sanctuary Markets presents FestEvil at the Fangtuary!
Jump on your broomsticks and bring the family for a BITE at the Sanctuary Markets before a night of Halloween fun! Enter the Fangtuary to ride the ghost train through the sanctuary at night. Explore the nocturnal corridor and discover what the bats really get up to after dark. Have your photo taken with snakes and owls.
It will be a spook-tacular evening with trick or treat for kids, face painting and fun activities plus prizes for best dressed.
Entry to the Fangtuary $15 per person, $10 per person for National Trust Members and Kids under 4 free (must be ticketed).

And the weekend will wind up with the CYCLING MASTERS ROAD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Cyclists from across Australia will flock to the Gold Coast to race on the GC2018 18.7km closed-road circuit for the Cycling Australia Masters Road National Championships on Sunday 29 October.
Kick starting from Currumbin’s Pacific Parade, the route highlights some of the Southern Gold Coast’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes, from the iconic Currumbin Beach to Currumbin Creek and even Currumbin Valley.
Presented by Cycling Queensland on behalf of Cycling Australia, the Championships will act as an operational trial for the GC2018 Cycling Road Race.
