At our Parks, we’re proud to facilitate the opportunity for guests to learn and appreciate the history of local indigenous culture.
This year we invite you to celebrate with us, the unique cultural heritage embedded in the region of our Gold Coast Tourist Parks.
Some of our parks have proudly established a partnership with their local cultural centre, giving our guests and park teams the opportunity
to connect with the world's oldest living culture through unforgettable cultural experiences.
Ceremonies like the "Welcome to Country" and performances by traditional owners and dancers are both unique and delightful.
Some of our parks have already hosted these ceremonies, with more to come during 2022.
Little Explorers Program - Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre
Over the 2020 Christmas holidays, guests of our Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park were treated to special pricing with the Little Explorer Program run by the Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Adults could attend free when accompanying their children. Highlights include a guided walk through Jellurgal (Buleigh Headland) to learn about the magic of the "Dreaming Mountain" and creating your own aboriginal art - Painting your very own boomerang to take home!

Future Plans
During 2021 there are cultural talks planned for guests to learn more about the Aboriginal history and culture of the Gold Coast, from one of the traditional Yugambeh custodians.
