Dream Itinerary for a 3-night Stay at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park!

What would you do….. On a 3-day getaway to Burleigh Beach?

Scott and Lara, our Burleigh Beach Tourist Park Managers, have put together a dream itinerary!

See their suggested itinerary below. They are passionate about their local area and want to share knowledge of this great location and all it can offer for a Gold Coast holiday! Dream Big! Live the Dream!

Day 1 - Arrive midday at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park!

Arrive midday at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park for an early check-in to your 2-story deluxe cabin!

Let’s dive straight into this awesome fun packed 3 days in Burleigh!

1.00pm ‘Hop On Brewery Tour’ - Take the public bus (soon to be a tram) up to Broadbeach to meet the tour! 3.5 hours, $130 PP (must be 18+ to participate).

Head back to the park by 5 pm. Relaxing arvo watching sunset from our cabin, order in a pizza from Justin Lane.

Day 2 - Explore the local Burleigh Headland and Tallebudgera Creek!

Enjoy a barbeque breakfast on the top story deck of your amazing cabin. Smell that bacon, eggs and some BBQ toasted damper buns with maple butter! Kick back overlooking a great view of the park.

First up at 10.00am the Jellurgal Walkabout - Learn about the Aboriginal history and culture of the Gold Coast on this engaging walking tour of the renowned Burleigh Headland. 2.5 hours $39 Adults $20 Children.

Esky is packed with a picnic lunch so from there we head to Tallebudgera Creek to see Leanne from All Coast Paddle Board Hire. 1.5 hours for $25 and if you do not know how to paddle Leanne will give you a lesson for free!

Back to the park by 4.00pm , if you need a quick arvo nap feel free! Its your holiday!

The weather is perfect for an early fish & chip dinner on Burleigh Hill. Grab your takeaways from “The Fish Monger” on James St , if you feel like a sweet treat for after grab a doughnut from “Doughnut Time” across the road.

After watching the sunset over dinner, head back to the cabin, it's been a long day. Let's relax on the sofa and watch some TV, early to bed, ready for tomorrow.

Day 3 - Tamborine Mountain Day!

For breakfast, grab an acai bowl from “The Fruit Shop Burleigh” for the drive up the mountain.

First stop is The Skywalk , takes approximately 45 minutes at a leisurely pace, the walk totals 1.5 kms and is a combination of forest floor trails, 300 metres of high-tech steel bridges through the highest points of the upper canopy, and a 40 metre cantilever bridge that soars a breathtaking 30 metres above the creek and rainforest below. $19.50 adults $9.50 children.

Time for shopping along the “Gallery Walk”! Chocolates, wines, jewellery, fudge ,truffles and many more specialty shops. Lunch at the famous ‘Bavarian Grill House’ yes, that’s a German restaurant on the mountain, you can’t make this stuff up!

Afternoon spent checking out the waterfalls, “Curtis Falls”, ‘Cedar Creek Falls”, “Cameron Falls” and “Witches Falls”. Time to make our way home, stopping at “Witches Chase Cheese” to pick up some snacks to have with drinks on the balcony back at the cabin.

Dinner - Barbeque on the balcony accompanied by some amazing wines we picked up on the mountain.

Day 4 - Departure day

Departure day, but don’t get too sad! Get a late check out for midday so you can take the 2 minute walk to beautiful Burleigh Beach for a swim and then breakfast on James St.

Meet our Burleigh Beach Tourist Park Managers, Scott and Lara, with their son Jasper

Just to let you know a little about this dream team - Scott and Lara have been in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, both starting out as qualified chefs, which is how they met. During their time working as chefs they travelled extensively throughout Australia and the UK. Lara moved into accommodation management in 2005, with Scott following in 2011. They live on site at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park with their young son ‘Jasper’ (who thinks he runs the place). They have a great team and all look forward to welcoming their guests to the park!
