HO! HO! HO! It’s Off to Broadwater We Go!

Just like that, we are gearing up for what will be an extraordinary Christmas and New Year Holiday here at Broadwater! There's something truly enchanting about celebrating Christmas time in a caravan park, and Broadwater Tourist Park is no exception. The communal atmosphere in our park creates unique holiday magic, where neighbors become friends, and shared traditions transform a caravan or cabin stay into a festive home away from home. Wake up to coffee with a view, feel the sea breeze, and revel in the contagious joyous atmosphere that makes spending Christmas time at Broadwater Tourist Park an unforgettable memory for the whole family.

Themed Nights

Our Broadwater School Holiday activities and events are ones to remember and this year will be better, bigger, and bolder than ever with the introduction of our Themed Party Nights! Monday the 18th December: Country Party & Wednesday 10th January All White Party!

Bring your Cowboy Boots, Hats and a Boot Scoot’n boogie for our Country Party on Monday the 18th December! What better to accompany our country night with the flavours of Australian Meats on offer from the Kitchen on Fire Food Van.

Let’s paint the park White with our All White Night Party on Wednesday 10th January, from your socks and shoes to your hats and shirt bring along and wear anything and everything white, Our great friends at California Tacos will be back helping the adults get their boogie on with their tasty Mexican and Delicious Margaritas!

Both parties will host amazing live music, offer a great backdrop to capture the magic of the event and heaps of family fun activities to keep all the kids entertained, big and small.

Other Stocking Filler Fun In-Park Activities and Events

The all-time favorite stocking filler activities and events will return on the regular activities calendar such as Outdoor Movie Nights, Broadwaters Bingo with Brooke, Musical Trivia, Craft Sessions (Christmas Craft, Sand Art, Soy Scented Candle Making, Plaster Painting, Scratch Art) Airbrush Tattoos and Kids Discos

How great is it that once-a-week guests will wake up to the delicious smell of piping hot pancakes wafting through the park and what better than topping them with a big scoop of ice-cream, maple syrup, chocolate or caramel topping, and butter and sugar. Broadwater’s Pancake Breakfasts are definitely not to be missed!

Don’t want to cook? Not to worry… Every night (except Christmas Day, and NYE) we will have a Food Van on site! Get ready to try a number of different cuisines from our regular Urban Gourmet Kitchen, Roam In Pizza to Jessie and the Chef, Skewer Me, Hail Mary Mexican, Hawker Eats and Oyo-Nigiri plus our special event Food Vans Kitchen on Fire and California Tacos!

Your caffeine fix will be supplied by the amazing Coffee Bar at the Events area every Tuesday - Sunday!

"Hey Siri... Play Santa Claus is Coming to Town"

This year we will be hosting our own in-park Christmas Carols with a special visit from the man from the North Pole, that’s right kids, it's Santa Claus! And he will be bringing a special treat for all the nice kids, he’s making his list and he’ll be checking it twice…

Can't get enough of the activities and events in the park? Our incredible location, just next door to the Broadwater Parklands offers a world of options to keep the fun going all holidays long! Not to mention their amazing annual New Year's Eve Extravaganza, featuring magicians, food trucks, and Fireworks.

Keep Active and Healthy these School Holidays

Take advantage of the incredible pathways both south and north of us perfect for a bike ride or walk along the beautiful foreshore!

The City of Gold Coast runs a free/low-cost Active and Healthy Program all year round to allow residents and holidaymakers the opportunity to move their bodies whilst on the Gold Coast.

Programs that are central to us at the Broadwater Tourist Park are:

- Active & Healthy Dance ($5): Tuesdays - 19 Dec, 16 Jan, Thursdays - 14 Dec, 18 Jan, Saturdays 16 Dec, 20 Jan. Classes focus on increasing your balance, flexibility, and coordination while dancing to music. A friendly and social group that welcomes everyone at the Northern Pavilion - Broadwater Parklands, Southport. Classes will continue during the summer holidays on the below dates:

- Try Underwater Hockey ($9): 6-8pm Friday 8th Dec & Monday 22 Jan. Come try underwater hockey at the Southport Aquatic Centre, you will love it. Push your cardio breath hold and endurance to the max gaining skills on the bottom of the pool. It is a non-contact sport but a bit rough. Two teams of 6 try and get the puck in the goal trays. If you have a mask, snorkel and fins bring it along however we have newbie gear to try.

- Tai Chi (FREE): Saturday 9th December 8-9am - Tai Chi is a healing martial art combining many movements with Qi energy circulation, breathing and stretching techniques. A qualified instructor will guide you through a series of movements to help promote harmony, improve mobility and suppleness, and increase mental alertness.

- A&H Silent Disco Scavenger Hunt (FREE): Tuesday 9th January 9-10:30am - Get ready for an interactive and immersive experience that seamlessly blends the excitement of a scavenger hunt, the groovy vibes of a silent disco, and the high-energy atmosphere of a dance party. You will be given a list of clues to solve and items to find throughout a designated area. The twist is that you will be equipped with wireless headphones that play music and provide instructions on where to go next, allowing you to dance and move to the beat while they search for clues. Once you complete the scavenger hunt, be energized grooving to the beat of the music with the silent disco.

- A&H Blazepod Warriors (FREE): Tuesday 12th December 1:15-2:15pm - Join Blazepod Warriors for an action-packed kids' fitness adventure! With reaction drills, hand-eye coordination challenges, and fun games using interactive Blazepods, your children will boost their coordination, agility, and cognitive abilities while having a blast. This dynamic session encourages teamwork and friendly competition in a positive and supportive environment. Conquer challenges and become Blazepod Warriors together! *Suitable from 7 years of age.
