Jacobs Well Newsletter - October 2020

Welcome to Jacobs Well Tourist Park!

What’s new this month…

October is the month where we really start to see Summer on the horizon! The weather is really starting to warm up, the water is sensational and there is a real buzz in the air!

It was a great time with the nights still cool enough to get a camp fire going and enjoy a bit of old school camping fun! Fishing has been fantastic with a number of fishing comps being held and some awesome whiting and flathead being reeled in. Check out this amazing catch posted by Jacobs Well Boat Hire! This month saw the first annual Cane Field Minion Trail event held throughout the Jacobs Well sugar cane district. Organised by Exit 38 Tourism (check out their Facebook page!), local businesses gather up some sugar cane bales and turn them into fabulous minions! The displays are placed in front of the businesses and families are encouraged to follow the trail to discover where those cheeky little minions might pop up! It was a great weekend with people out and about exploring our area in a really novel and fun way! Here are our minions by their campfire toasting some rather interesting looking marshmallows! As we are getting close to the Festive Season give us call! We still have limited places available for Christmas and the school holidays. Jacobs Well is a great choice for getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying the Gold Coast's waterways with the family! Don’t forget…..WE’RE DOG FRIENDLY!
