Meet our 2023 CPAQ Award Winners!

Gold Coast Tourist Parks celebrate at the recent Caravan Parks Association of Queensland Awards!

The annual CPAQ Awards, held on 8 May 2023 at RACV Royal Pines, recognised outstanding individuals working in caravan parks in Queensland, and caravan parks undertaking awesome initiatives. This year 4 of our parks nominated for awards and all 4 took home Gold!

To have so many of the parks recognised at the CPAQ Awards is testament to a commitment to excellence demonstrated by our entire team. I’m delighted the variety of awards won confirms we care about our guests, staff, and the environment. I’m also proud of the entire team for their ongoing effort to provide unique and memorable holiday experiences.

—Andrew Illingworth, Executive Coordinator, Gold Coast Tourist Parks

The whole team at Broadwater Tourist Park recognise the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for their guests and by making this a priority they believe their guests are more likely to respect the park and treat it with the same care they do. Tallebudgera Creek Tourist ParkWinner: Ray Fitton Award for Innovation

This year, the park has added a live-action gaming system combining technology, entertainment, and recreation that suits all ages! It is an innovative system that offers a twist on laser tag gaming and uses advanced infrared technology to track and record hits. Implementing this new game provided the park with the opportunity to attract a wider range of guests, which in turn helped increase the park’s revenue by 16.8% in the past 12 months and this activity has had over 650 participants in just over 6 months!
