As we welcome the last month of summer and look forward to the leaves falling in autumn, we find ourselves reminiscing about the fun-filled days at Broadwater Tourist Park during the past school holidays.

Country-Themed Party: A Night of Western Wonder (18th December)
We saddled up and dusted off our cowboy boots as we journeyed on a thrilling Country-themed party on the coast. On the 18th of December, guests were treated to an evening of all country live music by Christian Ellis (The Voice 2023), “yeehawing” and western-inspired festivities like our boot throwing competition, complete with a mouthwatering feast of meats from the magnificent Kitchen on Fire Food Van.
All-White Party: An Evening of Elegance (10th January)
Guests were treated to our All-White Party on the 10th of January. All dressed in pristine white attire, guests gathered for an afternoon of Live Music, Cocktails, and good vibes. Against the Broadwater backdrop of the shimmering waters and swaying trees, Mother Nature decided we all needed to cool down with a little rain shower. Our die-hard partygoers stuck out the 3-minute rain shower for another 15 minutes of great live music by Gav Bell and created memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Weekly Pancake Breakfasts: Flipping Fun for All Ages
Start your day on a delicious note with our beloved Weekly Pancake Breakfasts, a cherished tradition at Broadwater Tourist Park. Every week, guests are invited to indulge in a delectable spread of fresh fluffy pancakes, decked with an array of toppings ranging from ice cream to decadent syrups, butter, lemon, and sugar. Whether you're a morning person or simply crave a sweet treat, these shared breakfast gatherings offer the perfect opportunity to fuel up for a day of adventure, boating, fishing, or relaxing here at the park.
Weekly Bingo Sessions with Brooke: A Winning Combination
Guests joined in on the excitement and friendly competition once a week for our weekly bingo sessions hosted by the amusing, best bingo caller of all time… Brooke. With enticing prizes up for grabs like chocolates and lollies and the thrill of anticipation in the air, guests of all ages come together for a lively game of chance and luck. Whether you're a seasoned bingo enthusiast or a newcomer eager to try your luck, these spirited gatherings promised fun and laughter for the whole family.
Regular Crafts Sessions: Unleash Your Creativity
Channel your inner artist and let your imagination soar with our various Crafts Sessions, From Sand-Art, Plaster Painting, Scratch Art, Soy Scented Candle Making and our Colouring in Sessions. Guests of all ages unleashed their creativity in our recreation room, crafting souvenirs to commemorate their stay or having crafty time with their friends.
Outdoor Movies: Under the Stars Cinema Experience
Experience the magic of cinema under the stars with our Outdoor Movie Nights, a beloved tradition at Broadwater Tourist Park. This year the films that were featured included some new releases like; Barbie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Mutant Mayhem), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kracken, along with some kids favourites and classics such as Puss in Boots (The Last Wish), Captain Underpants (The First Epic Movie), The Lorax and Flicka From family-friendly classics to blockbuster hits, guests can recline under blankets and enjoy an unforgettable movie experience in the outdoors under the stars.
Stuntman Joel Comedy Show: A Performance of Thrills and Chills (4th January)
Guests were left on the edge of their seats as Stuntman Joel was here on the 4th of January with a thrilling spectacle consisting of jaw-dropping stunts, daring tricks, and adrenaline-pumping excitement. The air was electric with gasps, awe, and applause as guests were treated to an unforgettable experience that added a dash of thrilling excitement to their summer getaway.
Kids Disco: Dance, Laughter, and Endless Fun
For our younger guests, the Kids Disco is a highlight that promised an evening filled with dance, laughter, and endless fun. Under the vibrant lights in the night sky and pulsating beats, children came together to showcase their best dance moves, make new friends, and create cherished memories. The Kids Disco is a hit among families, providing an opportunity for children to let loose and enjoy the magic.
Santa Visit and Christmas Party: Festive Magic in the Air
Christmas at Broadwater Tourist Park is a magical affair, and our Santa Visit and Christmas Party with the sound of live Christmas carols in the air, brings the festive spirit to life. Guests, both young and young at heart, gathered to meet Santa Claus and his helpers. Little guests on the nice list were treated to a gift from Santa himself consisting of a chocolate treat. Sites were decorated and Christmas lights filled the park making the atmosphere very festive and cheerful.
Trivia Sessions: Test Your Knowledge and Unleash Your Competitive Spirit
Guests challenged their intellect and embraced friendly competition with our engaging Trivia afternoons. Gathered with fellow guests at our events area and recreation room as our host Brooke guided them through brain-teasing musical knowledge questions, guessing the name of songs, artists and year released, spanning a variety of genres. Prizes awaited the sharpest minds, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.
Food Vans Every Night: A Culinary Extravaganza
Dive into a culinary adventure as our various Food Vans were on offer every night at our Events Area. From gourmet delights to street food sensations, right at your caravan, tent, or cabin doorstep. It's a feast for the senses, allowing guests to savour enjoyable dishes while soaking in the ambiance of the park, and no one has to do the dishes!

All Other Family Fun Activities
Our summer at Broadwater Tourist Park offered a variety of engaging activities for all ages. Other activities that guests enjoyed throughout their stay included vibrant airbrush tattoos, Animal Farm Visit, friendly target golf competitions, creative colouring-in contests, and embarked on picture hunts, matching the photo to the location in the park.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of our guests for another great Christmas and New Year holiday in 2024/2025!
