Winter is Here

After 2 years of Covid Lockdowns and border restrictions we are thrilled to have our new and return winter guests back at Broadwater!

It has been one of the coldest starts to winter in decades. With many southerners making their way up to Queensland to escape the cruel cold at home we are experiencing one of our busiest winters ever. Guests at Broadwater will be treated to many in park activities and events, including bingo, pancake breakfasts, sausage sizzles, happy hours, craft sessions, bus trips, scenic boat cruises and a Xmas in July celebration.

We experienced a jampacked June/July school holidays with families enjoying all of the park activities from crafts, bingo, outdoor movies, pancake breakfasts, a reptile show and an unbelievable comedy circus and stunt show by Joel Fenton!

We also had the great pleasure of watching the Gold Coast Marathon earlier this month 2nd and 3rd July. Broadwater is situated right next to the start and finish line for the full marathon and we got to see every participant strive to the finish line. The Sunday morning of the marathon, we hosted a delicious pancake breakfast in our check in bay, where guests could indulge in pancakes, ice-cream and toppings while watch the runners go past.

Over 6 weeks left of winter we still have heaps for guests to look forward to:

Xmas in July Luncheon on Monday 25th July.

Bus Trip to Ipswich visiting the historic railway Museum on Tuesday 26th July.

Bingo Every Wednesday at 3pm

Happy Hours, Pancake Breakfasts, and Sausage Sizzles as well as fundraising Morning Teas and another Bus Trip in August!

Whether you are staying with us or not we are wishing all caravanners and campers a happy winter and we look forward to welcoming you for your next stay at Broadwater!
