Winter Waves & Cosy Stays @ Ocean Beach

Firstly, a big WELCOME BACK to our beloved Winter guests.

Here at Ocean Beach, Winter is a season of calm tides and breathtaking sunsets. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves lapping the shore, with crisp ocean air and misty mornings creating the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. There’s something special about winter here — not just the peaceful coastal views or the crisp seaside air, but the familiar sight of returning guests rolling in, year after year. As the colder months settle in, our park becomes more than just a destination—it becomes not just a reunion of old pals and shared stories, but also of creating new memories and meeting new friends.

We're looking forward to seeing all the friendly faces that make Winter our favourite time of year. From our footy nights, snuggled under the blankets to our Bingo and Trivia nights that always end in typical (hilarious) disaster. We're all looking forward to the annual Christmas In July lunch, Mystery Bus Tour, and all our other special nights we have planned.

Every afternoon, the heart of it all beats in the camp kitchen, where laughter flows as freely as the tea (wine). Our daily happy hour is a time-honoured ritual for our campers - camp chairs pulled close, snacks passed around, with tales swapped and plans made. Whether it’s your first winter visit or your fifteenth, you’re sure to be welcomed like family. There’s always a warm drink, a friendly face, and someone ready to share tips on the best spot to eat or who’s leading the AFL this round.

It’s these moments—simple, genuine, and joyful—that keep people coming back. Winter at Ocean Beach isn’t just a break from the everyday; it’s a return to community. So, if you're thinking of visiting, don’t be surprised if you're greeted with a familiar smile and the words, “Glad to see you back.”
