The “Welcome to Country” ceremony is a small, formal ceremony where traditional owners, welcome people to their land.

It involves a statement or speech made in Aboriginal dialect, translated for those in attendance, to show respect to the traditional custodians of the land.

The Welcome to Country is followed by a dance performance by The Yugambeh Dancers and includes corroborees, dreamtime stories, didgeridoo music and songs about the local history of the First Nations People of the Gold Coast.

This is a complimentary activity proudly provided by Adrian, Casey and the Team at Tallebudgera Creek!

We look forward to you joining us this Friday!
