North Currigee Campground, South Stradbroke Island

Located just steps from the water, soak up the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters on these incredible beachfront sites.

North Currigee campground offers 29 camp sites either on or close to the water’s edge. Each site can accommodate one average sized or two smaller tents.

Campground facilities at North Currigee include a pontoon, sheltered picnic area, toilets and hot showers. There’s a mini kiosk for your camping needs at the South Currigee campground office, approximately 6km south. The campground ranger from South Currigee delivers firewood, ice, drinking water and other necessities to campers twice daily

No pets allowed on South Stradbroke Island. Please support us in protecting the wildlife found naturally in this pristine area.

  • Dogs are prohibited within the Conservation Park (managed by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services) and all three of the campgrounds managed by the City of Gold Coast
