Are you ready to rock at Cooly Rocks On 2020?

Cooly Rocks On is Australia’s largest nostalgia festival, held 3-7 June 2020 and celebrating the cars, music and culture of the 50s, 60s and 70s in Coolangatta on the Southern Gold Coast. Music, dancing, cars, nostalgia and good old-fashioned family fun are all on the program, right here in one of the best destinations in the world!

Kirra Beach Tourist Park is the perfect place to stay. We are only a 10 minute walk from the festival so you can bring the van or tent, or even stay in one of our awesome villas and make your way easily to enjoy the festivities each day. We do have a 4 night minimum during the Festival dates and on the Thursday night we have got your dinner covered with Urban Gourmet food van coming in so you can enjoy a day of dancing and fun and you won’t have to come back and cook!

Dress up in your favorite rockabilly and head down to the foreshore to begin your tour back in time. Dance the day away with live music across many different venues, including the Surf Clubs and Hotels and don’t forget to take a blanket or some camp chairs to sit and enjoy some of the countries best Rock and roll, Rockabilly and Swing Bands hitting the outdoor stages!

If you find yourself getting a bit peckish from all that dancing you will find an variety of different food vendors along the foreshore, as well as a choice of the many wonderful cafes and eateries which Coolangatta has to offer.

There will be hundreds of vintage cars displayed along the streets for the Show and Shine and so many other fun activities and events during the festival. This includes the Sunday Street Parade, Retro Markets and the Cooly Rocks On and Miss Rockabilly Pageants. You are guaranteed to have a rockin’ good time!
