Winter 2024 at Ocean Beach

We love winter here at Ocean Beach! And, of course, we love our return guests. Their arrival is like a reunion with old friends, and we couldn't be happier to see familiar faces grace our grounds once again. As the crisp winter air descends upon our coastal sanctuary, it also heralds the arrival of one of nature's most awe-inspiring spectacles - the majestic migration of whales along our shores. But the wonders don't end there! We are so looking forward to having our Sunday afternoon Finnska competitions, our weekly activities, our Christmas in July lunch, our Mystery Bus Tour, and (probably most of all) the AFL on the big screen!

All the Southerners are avid footy supporters, so we always try to get the games on with the heaters out and the BBQ going! Grab your scarves, don your team jersey, and cheer on with your fellow campers. Carn the Tigers!

Our Sunset Sound Sundays are a hit with our visitors and their visitors alike! Find a spot on the lawn, BYO nibblies and drinks, and watch the amazing Piano man Chris and his guest performers serenading us until the sun goes down. Sit back and relax or get up and dance your winter blues away. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're sure to leave with a song in your heart and a smile on your face.

Get ready to flex those mental muscles. Our yearly trivia proved a little too challenging last year (my fault), but I'm bringing it back this year better than ever. Its not about winning (Peter), it is about coming together and having fun! Pete will be cooking his famous slow cooker meals along with his pancakes and bacon and egg rolls, much to the delight of our regulars!


The Pacific Air Show is back this winter. What a spot to park your van and head on up to Surfers Paradise! The 3-day event is on from the 16th - 18th August and no doubt the weather will be glorious.

We welcome new and old friends this year. So park up, unpack your bags, settle in, and let the magic of the caravan park wash over you once more. Here's to another unforgettable season, see you at happy hour :)
