It’s Spring… and We’re Still Being Renovated!

Ah, spring — the season of blooming flowers, baby birds, and… power tools? Yep, things are still a little noisy here at Main Beach Tourist Park as renovations continue, but we’re hanging in there (and so are the birds).

While we’re not quite ready to fling open the gates just yet, we’re hopeful that the next time we write, we’ll have some very exciting reopening news to share. Until then, it’s hard hats on and heads down!

We’ve been doing our best to stay out of the way of the tradies (they move fast and carry ladders), but that doesn’t mean we’ve been twiddling our thumbs.

Our team has been busy mulching like maniacs, giving the garden beds a tidy-up, and generally trying to make the place look less like a construction site and more like a tropical holiday paradise. We’re getting there!

Meanwhile, the local bird population has been living their best life. With no humans around, they’ve taken over like feathery little landlords — building nests, raising chicks, and eyeing off all the prime picnic spots. We suspect they’ll be mildly annoyed when guests return and they have to share their turf again. But hey, who doesn’t love a spring picnic (even if it’s dive-bombed by a plover)?

Thanks for your patience while we give Main Beach Tourist Park a well-deserved makeover. We miss you all, and can’t wait to welcome you back with blooming gardens, and possibly some slightly offended birds.

Until next time — enjoy the spring sunshine and send some good reno vibes our way!

With (slightly dusty) love,
The Main Beach Tourist Park Team 🌷
